I use linux ckermit but sometimes I use dos kermit (from real dos
not an emulator). I know mskermit is not being updated. I am
just curious about a mysterious behavior that is really not
a problem. I start in the dir where the binary/patches/dialing
directory/init files are. I have not switched dirs from kermit as the
prompt shows, yet I get the message dialing directory not found
when I try to dial. The comand "cd" or the strange command
"cd ." puts everything right; when I dial the dialing file _is_
now found and the call proceeds normally.
just curious
thanks
